The Delegation of the Basque Country to the United States is located in New York City and was established in 2007 by the General Secretariat for External Action and European Union, an office of the Basque Presidency or Lehendakaritza. Their focus is on acting as a bridge between Euskadi and the United States within the institutional and economic spheres, promoting cultural exchange, and engaging with the local Basque diaspora.
In collaboration with Basque Trade & Investment and the Basque Business Development Agency they promote economic ties by supporting Basque companies doing business in the United States. They also work with Invest in the Basque Country to accompany American companies interested in investing in the Basque Country.
