Since 1994, the Mid-Atlantic – Eurasia Business Council (MAEBC/MARBC)  has worked to foster business relations between Eurasia and the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region. The goals of MAEBC/MARBC are to enable companies based in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region to enhance their positions in Eurasia, to attract Eurasian businesses to the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region, and to establish the Mid-Atlantic region as a leading partner for Eurasian - American innovative technology and entrepreneurial cooperation. The most prominent of the nearly 25 events annually organized by the MAEBC/MARBC in the United States and in Eurasia are the annual Eurasian - American Innovation Technology Week RANIT) and Days of Eurasian – American Innovation Entrepreneurship Cooperation (RAVC).
