SUNY Maritime College is one of six state maritime academies in the United States. The historic 55 acre campus is located on the Throggs Neck peninsula in the Bronx, between the Long Island Sound and East River, 20 miles from mid-town Manhattan. Maritime College educates dynamic leaders for the global maritime industry. Offering 11 undergraduate majors, including five ABET-accredited engineering programs and two master's degree and certificate programs, a distinctive hands-on approach to education prepares students for career success.

The international transportation management program may be completed online or on campus and offers certificates in supply chain management and international ship chartering. The maritime and naval studies program blends courses in politics, naval tactics and the humanities. Both programs allow students to pursue the U.S. Coast Guard 3rd Mate’s license.
