JAMPRO – the national investment and export promotion agency – is the gateway which connects the world to Jamaica, enabling entrepreneurs from around the globe to tap into the wealth of trade and investment opportunities available in the country.
The United States is the largest trading partner of Jamaica in both the export of goods and services. It is also where the largest market for tourists traveling to the island. JAMPRO seeks to solidify our trade partnership through a process of engagement focusing on a number of targeted sectors, which include the creative industries (film, animation and music), manufacturing, tourism, agri-business, information and communication technology, mining and professional services. Investment and trade promotion are the two focal points of JAMPRO, which in addition to primary offices in Jamaica, Kingston and Montego Bay, has three offices in Toronto, New York and London.
